Every month we decide on our favorite exercise for getting fit at home with the trust that you will give it a try... OK? :-)

Our exercise for the month of March is:

Elbow to knee side crunch

This exercise is one from our new e-book. It is a fantastic exercise for knocking those obliques into shape without using any equipment at all...

Our training tip for this month is one that applies to your entire life...

Don't say "I'm tired, I'll workout tomorrow" or "I've been bad with my diet today, I'll start again tomorrow." Giving in to tomorrow will only damage your self-belief and build habits which don't support your health and dreams. It will plant a seed of self-doubt in your mind. It will make you question your ability and feel unsatisfied with yourself. There is nothing less motivating than feeling bad about yourself. Look back on your life - We bet that the best accomplishments that you have made, have been in times of good self-belief.

NEVER say I'll do it tomorrow. If you are genuinely strapped for time or very low in energy, make a compromise... Say "I'll do 10 minutes of exercise... Just a small workout to keep me on track" We bet once you start, you'll be SO glad that you did!

One of the worst things when you are trying to lose weight, or change over to a healthy diet, is to have this attitude:

"Oh well, I've been bad today so I'll just start tomorrow"

We have ALL been guilty of that one! But, let's end that for good. Let's make the decision to take immediate action! When we realize that the day hasn't gone according to plan, lets pick ourselves up, dust ourselves off and start again... Why start tomorrow when you can start right away? Every second of our lives is so precious, why waste it waiting for tomorrow?

Here are some quotes which summarize our TOP TIP perfectly:

"Know the true value of time; snatch, seize, and enjoy every moment of it. No idleness; no laziness; no procrastination; never put off till tomorrow what you can do today." Lord Chesterfield

"Even if you're on the right track - you'll get run over if you just sit there." Arthur Godfrey

"Never put off till tomorrow what you can do today." Thomas Jefferson

"A year from now you may wish you had started today." Karen Lamb

We really hope that you think carefully about our tip this month and decide to make a big effort to add it into your daily life. :-)

We're always looking for ways to make home fitness training easier for you so that you can get on with doing the important stuff...

Here's some of the work which is in the pipeline...

  • Video workouts so that you can play them at your computer and follow along...
  • iPod workouts so that you can do your workouts anywhere!

As always, if you have any thoughts about these we'd love to hear from you. In fact, if you have any ideas about how we can make home fitness training easier for you then we'd love to hear it.

You can tell us your ideas here...

You can send us any feedback on The Home Fitness E-Zine here...

Wishing you the best of health, fitness and freedom
Shaye and Tom
