Length of time it takes to firm glutes

by Bonnie
(Canada)

Because of a knee injury, I can't do the lunges and deep squat exercises recommended to firm my glutes. How long might it take to firm my glutes if I am consistent in doing one or all of the following three exercises: back kicks; doggy leg kicks; squat squeezes?

Expected Time to See Results From Glute Firming Exercises
by: Shaye and Tom

Hi there Bonnie,

Thanks for your question on how long it will take you to firm up your glutes.

To be entirely honest, the answer to your question is not an easy one as it is different for each person and it also depends on a lot of factors:

- The amount of body fat which you already have in that region

- The intensity at which you are doing your glute exercises

- How frequently you are doing your glute exercises

- The quality of your diet

- The size of your existing muscles

- etc...

As you can see, there are so many things which could effect the speed of your results. The most important thing to keep in mind is that if you keep up the frequency and intensity of your glute exercises you WILL see those glutes firm up.

If you are genuinely working hard at your glute exercises and are following a healthy diet - You should start seeing results within 2-4 weeks.

Good Luck Bonnie, and please keep us up to date with your progress!

Take Care,
Shaye and Tom
