Not losing weight but inches!!!!

Hi there! i am 33 yrs old and used to weigh 76kgs. After 3 months of gym and strict diet I have lost only one kg but almost 10 inches. Whats happening????

Everyone know that the body capacity of different people have different. You continue your effort and hope you will lose weight soon. Infect, you must try some other natural ways like vegetables, fruits and juice as well. My best wishes for you and hope you will lose your desire weight.

Firstly, congratulations at sticking to your gym program - You are doing fantastically well!

SO, you're wondering why you have been going hard at the gym and only lost 1 kg, but 10 inches... There is a very definite answer to your question:

You have lost body fat and gained muscle. (Which is AWESOME!) inch for inch, muscle weighs so much more than ignore what the scales are saying - Scales weigh muscle, fat, bones and even breakfast! Focus on your measurements - they are what count!

Another excellent way to measure your progress is by using a pair of body fat calipers.

They're pretty inexpensive and an awesome way of measuring your progress.

Whatever you do - don't get disheartened by the scales. Your progress is awesome and you are doing so well after just 3 months!

P.S. Another great thing about having gained so much muscle is that muscles are "Calorie Consuming" The more muscle you have, the easier it is to lose fat. This is because muscles burn extra calories in a day just to stay alive... So keep on building those muscles!
